Hey whats up guys. I was just wondering if there would be any more forms for dervishes coming out. What i was thinking that i thought would be really cool is an Avatar of Abbadon. On the GuildWiki site there was a picture of abbadon that was shown ingame that shows how the form could look like. It could also be an attacking form, seeing as how most of the others are just for buffing yourself, taking away enchantments, or dealing dmg to foes casting spells. But this one could be for pure destruction and mayhem! I would really like to hear some feedback on this idea.

Avatar of Abbadon would be no good considering the outcome of NF, but an Avatar of Kormir would be a good addition.

Bear Form (norn ftw)
Wolf Form
Bird Form
Hunter Form
Earth Form
Fire Form
Water Form
Air Form

the list of possable forms goes on for ever why do they all have to be elites

Well I think it has a lot to do with the type of char a Dervish is. I don't think they would take on any form other than the avatar of a god.

You see I wouldn’t mind seeing that, some form of uber paragon-ish armour with the glow Kormir has, making it alittle like her shrine. That’d be nice

That’s just.. not a Dervish at all, sounds more like some kind of Druid. Dervish's worship gods and through their favours takes on their forms, gift of the gods kinda thing.

Are you stupid ? Melandrus Avatar got enough nerfed and You want it nerf more to death ?

First time it was nerfed from 200 Hp to 150, then from 150 to 100 HP that the skills isnt worth it to be called an elite anymore, because +100 hp are nothing compared to other normal skills, which can give u easily in an instatd near +300 HP at certain conditions.
Wow, it protects u versus negative statusses, and ? want u whine now, that u can't poison an melandru derv because of this, then get ur BRAIN on and create simple a build vs melandru derv builds, which rely simple not on negative statusses, instead of perma whining, how imba melandrus ava is...
Other Avatars, like Lyssas and Balthazar are alot more imbalanced, then any other avatar skill ...
Melandrus avatar has 1 point, which every stupid noob should see, how to go versus melandru dervs ...
It changes their attacks to earth property, something that can be countered easily with certain skills, like mantra of earth to reduce drastically the damage u receive by over 40% and getting too energy out of it, when u receive damage.
classes can improve armors versus earth damage (elementalist for example)

Then in an other point . Guild Wars has massivly too less Gods really(i dont count Dhuum and Menzies now, because they have never been shown up in the regular game yet and are mostly only in the history of the story mentioned somewhere ingame and have something to do with the underworld)

However, when we look at any mythology of our world, at gods, every mythology is full of them, and far more than 10 or 15 different gods ..
how much has GW ? 5(6) wow, that have shown up in the regular pve game.

War, Nature, Death, Life and Beauty, then they are in the same the gods of elements , how boring -.-

GW needs more gods for single things, not less gods that are for 3 in 1 things each other, than with more gods, dervishs can have more avatars.

My imagination of GW's future Gods:

Balthazar: God of War and Honor
Grenth: God of Death and Devastation
Melandru: Goddess of Nature and Reincanation
Lyssa: Goddess of Beauty and Love
Abaddon: God of Wisdom and Chaos

Leviathan: God of Water, the Sea and Sorrow
Azrael: God of Fire, Smithery and Passion
Helion: God of Light and Purity

U must only compare our gods in GW with mythologies like roman/greek,/norse/persian/indian ect. mythologies, they have all much more gods, than GW has

and bam, when changing this, the Derwish would have like over 15 new avatar skills

I'd say, Avatar of Abbadon has life stealing, but can't deal conditions. As a bonus, you have no degen (such as vampiric weapons offer you -1 degen constantly) while you're in the Abbadon state. Avatar of Kormir causes a condition automatically upon hit (random, includes every condition) that lasts for 7 seconds, so long as you critical.

No, no, no, no, you got it wrong in order to trigger Avatar of Kormir you must be blind, otherwise it summons a demon that its attaks causes party members (foes too) to fall blind....

Quoted for Truth, Abaddon turning good would have been a much better ending than that leecher Kormir getting the credit for the players' work (I hate leechers), and Abaddon coming back and taking back his rightful place would be great in Guild Wars 2. I also hope that Dhuum and Menzies will be showing up in GW2.

no need to replicate the god's powers into new avatars, they reside over the elements, not any other gods. My theory is they will make avatars of monsters and lesser demons and such.
